What the new C_TS452_2601 exam looks like

SAP has moved its certification exams to a performance-based format. For Sourcing & Procurement (MM), that means C_TS452_2601: hands-on tasks executed inside a real SAP S/4HANA system, not multiple-choice questions.

The exam is open-book — SAP Help Portal, SAP Learning, SAP Community, and Joule for Consultants are available during the exam. It is non-proctored. Scoring is based on the system outputs of your completed tasks, reviewed automatically or via evaluation scripts.

Specifics of the C_TS452_2601 exam (duration, exact task count, topic weights) are kept current on the official SAP certification page. The course material is aligned to that page, not to outdated third-party syllabi.

Three days. End-to-end. With a real instructor.

Sessions are live on Teams or Zoom. You configure and execute alongside the instructor in a real SAP system. Recordings are available afterwards for review.

Curriculum is aligned with the SAP Learning Hub modules behind the official certification path: S4500 (Procurement Processes), S4510 (Inventory Management), S4515 (Invoice Verification), S4520 (Purchasing), S45250 (Consumption-Based Planning), and S4550 (Cross-Functional Customizing) — roughly 54 hours of official exercise material compressed into three focused days.

Day 1

Procurement foundation & master data

  • End-to-end procure-to-pay: purchase order, goods receipt, invoice — Fiori apps and back-end transactions side by side
  • Stock material vs. consumable material — what changes in postings and FI impact
  • Master data deep-dive: Business Partner for suppliers, material master extension, purchasing info records, conditions
  • Enterprise structure: purchasing organization, plant, valuation classes, account assignment categories

Aligned with SAP S4500 + S4520 (Master Data) + S4550 (Valuation & Account Assignment)

Day 2

Advanced purchasing, sources of supply & MRP

  • Contracts, scheduling agreements, source lists, quota arrangements — when to use which
  • Source determination: automatic vs. manual, behaviour inside the MRP run
  • Purchase requisition and purchase order release procedures, flexible workflows
  • Specific procurement: subcontracting, blanket POs, invoicing plans, consignment, pipeline
  • Consumption-based planning, reorder point, MRP areas, forecasting basics

Aligned with SAP S4520 (Purchasing) + S45250 (Consumption-Based Planning & Forecasting)

Day 3

Inventory, invoice verification & exam strategy

  • Goods receipts in all variants: with/without reference, blocked stock, returns, free-of-charge, production order
  • Goods issues, stock transfers (storage location and plant), reservations
  • Physical inventory, cycle counting, ABC analysis, situation handling
  • Invoice entry, variances and blocks, GR/IR account maintenance, evaluated receipt settlement
  • Closing: how to read a system-based task quickly, when to consult SAP Help vs. just configure, time-management across the exam

Aligned with SAP S4510 (Inventory Management) + S4515 (Invoice Verification) + exam-strategy closing block

Day-by-day order may shift slightly per cohort based on group level. Topics may be deepened or compressed where the cohort needs more time — small-group format makes that possible.

Join the waitlist for the first cohort

No date is set yet. The first cohort opens as soon as eight participants are on this list — and waitlist members hear about it first, lock in the launch price, and pick the first available date slot before the page goes public.

Why a waitlist instead of an open enrolment? Because we want this small enough to actually be a workshop, not a webinar. Eight seats, real attention, real exam prep.

FAQ

Why isn't there a date yet?

The first cohort opens once eight participants are on the waitlist. That keeps it a real workshop, not a webinar. Subscribing puts you first in line, locks in the launch price, and lets you pick from the available date slots before the page goes public.

Is the waitlist binding?

No. The waitlist is a free signal of interest — no payment, no contract. When the first cohort opens, you get the offer with date, agenda, and price; only then do you decide whether to enrol.

What's the time commitment per day?

Roughly four hours of live session per day, scheduled in U.S./LATAM-friendly hours. You can keep client work outside the session window. Recordings cover anything you miss.

What SAP background do I need?

Basic SAP / ERP exposure helps. The course is exam-focused and assumes you've worked through (or are working through) the SAP Learning material at least at a surface level. It is not a "first time touching SAP" intro.

Do I need a SAP Learning Hub subscription?

For the exam itself: yes, that's SAP's standard requirement. For the course: no. We use the instructor's SAP system for the live sessions.

What if I'm in Europe?

Live sessions are scheduled around U.S./LATAM hours; for Europe that means late afternoon / evening. Recordings are available for everything. A European-time cohort may follow later — say so in the notify form and we'll factor demand.

Is this affiliated with SAP?

No. Independent training delivered by a SAP-certified instructor. SAP and SAP S/4HANA are trademarks of SAP SE.

What's the price?

From USD 499 per seat. The final number depends on cohort size and inclusions (e.g. 1:1 follow-up call) and will be set when the first cohort opens. Early subscribers from this list lock in the launch price.
